Old Home WeekCDPEC
Each year, organizers of Old Home Week put together of a roster of top-notch entertainment for the whole family. From musical performances to animal acts to some of Canada's most popular buskers and performers, each year brings something new to the line-up.
Buskers and children's performers will make their rounds, a petting zoo will be set up by local 4H members, the Women's Institute will be displaying their crafts and curios, and the Civic Centre will be abuzz with daily acts by entertainers of both the two-legged and four-legged varieties.
And don't forget, 2009 marks the 50th anniversary of the Gold Cup and Saucer race, one of the most prestigious harness races in Atlantic Canada.
